are a better way to get in touch with locals that have office space to rent temporarily, but there is an even better way.
While there are several classified ads websites out there, there are a couple of extremely well known ones that are so well traveled you’re sure to find what you need as quickly as possible. I love using Craig’s List (http://craigslist.com/) to find just this sort of special condition item. First, choose your area and then all the local-dependent listings will be sorted to only include things in your area.
I recently began looking for temporary office space, as well as longer term office space in the Houston area. I regularly visit two large commercial property searching websites to find the longer term office space I need. So far I’ve found many more results for both long term and temporary office space using Craig’s List.
You can view listings in the general “housing” section, the “office / commercial” section or the “sublets / temporary” section. You can simply view all listings in a category, or add a word or two in the search box to help direct your search. For housing there is also a handy minimum and maximum rent fields that you can use to speed your search for temporary office space.
