On The Topic Of The Italian Language

This language has been around for centuries, and is spoken today by over seventy million people worldwide, and is the official language of more than just Italy. In various parts of the world close to Italy, such as San Marino and Switzerland, the natives in cities in Slovenia and Croatia commonly speak it. The language seems to stem from Latin, but has come to represent an entire culture of people, wherever you go you will probably find at least a few people that understand Italian fluently. In some cities in America such as New York City, Italian heritage is a commonality with those who have been here for generations, but is not limited merely to eastern states alone.

in the whole fabric of the United States as well as the world culture, without the Italian culture, we would not have greatly famous figures such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. The Renaissance wouldn’t have been as diverse if it weren’t for the Italian contributions of these great patrons at that particular point in time, and these items are but a glimpse of the history that makes up the culture that we come to know as our own today, the language leads us to understand on the level of the Italians what they contributed to this world as a whole.

Some of the words come from Greek and Etruscan, but almost all the nouns in Italian are either masculine or feminine, this is an example of an inflected language where changing their endings can change the meanings of the words. The fact of these endings can be the main reason why learning Italian can be a difficult undertaking for the student of these linguistics, but with time even the novice student will be able speak Italian fluently.
