Gourmet Knives From My Local Kitchen Shop
My local kitchen shop carries three line of gourmet knives. They carry Wusthof, Global and Henkels gourmet knives. All three of those brands of knives are magnificent. Any cook would count themselves fortunate to even encounter these knives while cooking.
I bought a Wusthof knife with a serrated edge last Fall. I needed it for slicing the crusty bread that I was planning to serve for Thanksgiving. Wusthof makes some remarkable gourmet knives.
The Global gourmet knives at my local kitchen shop were all made in Japan. My mother knows how much I love Japanese food and that I wanted to take a sushi rolling class. She bought me a three piece Asian knife set from Global that included a paring knife, a chef’s utility knife and a Santoku knife. They are wonderful.
My husband never thought that he needed gourmet knives for cleaning black bass. I bought him a fillet knife from the Henkels line of gourmet knives at the kitchen shop and he has been astonished at how nicely it slices. I’m amazed at how much he now believes in quality gourmet knives.
The
steak gourmet knives that I bought for my father-in-law have completely bowled him over. He cannot believe how easy a steak cuts with them. He had always had discount cutlery and had never treated himself to gourmet knives. I’m glad I bought them for him, I think that I will purchase him a Henkels meat and poultry set next.
I really like the gourmet knives from Global that my mother bought for me, but I think I need just one more knife to complete the set. I have been saving to buy a Sashimi knife that is ten inches long. This knife will be ideal for preparing Japanese food. The Global gourmet knives are attractive and work incredibly well for me.
